Veterinary care for Monona and the greater Madison Area

Darlene Berkovitz, DVM

Dr. Darlene Berkovitz graduated from the University of Illinois. After completing a small animal internship, she moved to the mountains of Aspen, CO. Dr. Berkovitz moved to the Madison-area to be closer to family and purchased Citywide Pet Clinic in August 2019. She has a lot of special interests including internal medicine,
dentistry, behavior, geriatric/hospice care and all things cat. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture through the Chi Institute. When not working, Dr. Berkovitz spends her time chasing around her two young children with the help of a cattledog and tiny terrier-mix. Because life wasn’t hectic enough, she also recently adopted two kittens from Angel’s Wish. Dr. Berkovitz also loves to ski, exercise, read and eat chocolate chip cookies.
What we do

Our Services

PREVENTIVE CARE

During your visit, your veterinarian will perform a complete physical examination of your pet. These will serve to ensure that any potential conditions are discovered and treated before it can become too late.

DENTISTRY

Our dentists will provide the most complete and pet-friendly care in order to ensure that your best friend’s oral health is at its peak and remains aesthetically pleasing for all.

ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is the treatment of conditions or symptoms by the insertion of very fine needles into specific points on the body in order to produce responses. This will ensure complete stimulation across your pet’s body.

What Drives Us

Our Mission
